FlechaWhat's New Version 2.19.2

1.Weather conditions and heat stress

The map incorporates a new component that allows you to know, at all times, what the weather is like, the accumulated precipitation and what level of thermal stress your animals are suffering.

What does it show?

On the map is a card that summarizes, at a glance, three key facts:

  • Current temperature in the area.
  • Accumulated precipitation during the day, in mm.
  • Heat stress level represented by a colored dot and a label with the condition of your animals.

The level of heat stress is organized into four states, from least to most severe:

  • Stable — No heat stress. Animals maintain their temperature normally, with no effects on welfare or production.
  • Mild — Early signs of heat stress: increases breathing rate and search for shade and water. No intervention required.
  • Moderate — Panting, increased water consumption, and lower intake occur, with an impact on production. If prolonged, it also affects fertility. Mitigation measures should be applied.
  • Critical — High health risk: severe panting, dangerous increase in body temperature, and risk of heat stroke, especially in pregnant women, calves, and high-producing animals. Requires immediate intervention: shade, water, and cooling.

What is it used for on a day-to-day basis?

  • Anticipate heat situations that may stress livestock and act before symptoms appear.
  • Decide more judiciously when to move animals from area to area or reinforce access to shade and water.
  • Know the moisture available for the pasture from the accumulated precipitation.
  • Have all the meteorological context of the farm without leaving the map.

2. Average weekly rest

The monitoring section of the animal file has been updated to add the Average Weekly Rest, along with the total for the day.

3.Non-moving animal filter

A new filter has been added to the map to be able to directly filter out animals that are in a "No Movement" state.

4. Dismiss all notifications

Alert listings incorporate a button to dismiss all alerts from the listing at once, sending them to the "Last 30 days" section in a single step.
