The Ixorigue map is a tool that allows you to organize and control the use of your land in a simple and visual way. With it you can locate animals, manage grazing areas, receive alerts and optimize the management of your farm.
Here are the main features and benefits you'll find on the map:
1. Location of the animals
- The animals appear on the map with different colors: females in green and males in blue.
- If an animal has an event, you'll see the corresponding icon. [(What icons mean on the map)]
- Batches can be identified with a specific color, making them easy to track. [(How to create animal batches and what functionalities it has)]
- With the search engine you can quickly locate any animal and see its position. [(How to create batches of animals and what functionalities it has)]
- By clicking on an animal, you will access more information, its route and its complete file.
2. Perimeter
- Define the boundaries of your farm to mark the safety area. [(How to create and edit a perimeter)]
- It is especially useful on large farms with several grazing areas or circuits not connected to each other.
- The app sends out-of-perimeter alerts if an animal crosses the perimeter boundaries.
- [(How the perimeter and zones work)]
3. Pasture areas
- They are areas within the perimeter that allow you to organize and control where the animals are grazing and the use/rest of the grazing areas.
- You can create, edit, and group zones according to your needs.
- Animals with GPS are automatically assigned to a zone based on their location. [(How the perimeter and zones work)]
- When you click on an area, you will see more information and you will be able to access its complete file.
- The zones created can be a and d. [(How to activate and deactivate a zone and how it works)]
4. Status of the zones
The color and border of each zone indicate its current location:
- White with white border: resting area.
- White with green border: area in transition, confirming that animals are moving from one area to another.
- Green with green border: active area, currently in use by animals.
5. Animal Assignment
- Automatic: Animals with GPS are assigned to the area they are in.
- Manual: Animals without GPS can be assigned from the zone card.
6. Alerts and notifications
- All alerts are viewed from the bell icon on the map and are organized by category.
7. Filters
- By clicking on the filters icon, you can select criteria to display only animals that meet these conditions on the map.
